The Ministers exchanged their views on how to build more resilient and inclusive labour markets in light of the lessons learned from the recent global economic crisis. Following the meeting, a \u201cMinisterial Statement on Building More Resilient and Inclusive Labour Markets\u201d was adopted.<br \/>\nSpeaking at the meeting, Minister Soylu informed his counterparts about the institutional arrangements and reforms implemented in order to make Turkish labour market more resiliant and inclusive. Minister Soylu expressed that the efficient implemantation of these reforms provided Turkey to decrease its unemployment rate below the pre-crisis level earlier than most of the OECD members.<br \/>\nMinister Soylu also emphasized the importance and the need for international cooperation, solidarity and responsibility sharing to find a \u201crooted\u201d solution to the recent refugee crises reminding Turkey hosts 2,4 million Syrians with \u201ctemporary protection&#8221;.<br \/>\nWithin the scope of his visit, Minister Soylu also held bilateral talks with his counterparts.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row]<\/p>\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=&#8221;12597&#8243; img_size=&#8221;full&#8221;][vc_column_text] OECD Employment and Labour Ministerial Meeting 2016 OECD Employment and Labour Ministerial Meeting Minister of Labour and Social Security S\u00fcleyman Soylu attended OECD Employment and Labour Ministerial Meeting at the OECD Headquarters in Paris on 15 January 2016.
